Possibly a contradiction in terms, or maybe it is just seeing gaming for what it is. The word 'game' is a derivitive of, "An activity providing entertainment or amusement; a pastime: party games; word games." By that we can assume that gaming isn't an act of realism it is used to pass the time in a fun way, but where can the line between realistic gaming and unrealistic gaming be drawn? Still reading? Good, I will begin to explain.

I am in a contradiction style mood today so here is another one, although I said I will begin to explain, I won't, well not exactly won't as I will try to get the point over, but explaining a contradiction is like starving in your local Tescos or becoming bored in a computer store, it just doesn't happen! Unrealistic games can go under different classes, taking on the Mafia and succeeding is unrealistic, dying and then coming back to life is unrealistic (unless of course you are a cat) and surviving in a fantasy world is also very unrealistic, but the approach to succeeding on your objectives could be believable, it could even be... realistic! Possibly one of the best examples of this is Remedys chart topping action game, Max Payne. Taking on the mafia with an army is a questionable act, but taking on the biggest mafia family in New York all on your own is insanity, especially if you consider that time can be slow down to aid you quest. Whilst browsing the net I found some reviews of Max Payne, some where entitled "M
