Is it just me being crap, or is this game bloody hard?

I've got it on the easiest level and I've just entered the tombs; so I'm early in the game, but I can't kill the bloody zombies quick enough. I've tried shots to the head, grenades, anything I have - but the gits won't die!

Any tips?

try using the thompson sub machine gun (the one in between the mp40 and the silenced sten gun it might help you, my dad used one for real, and he says that its pretty good).

It is a very hard game - I've not even tried it on the medium mode yet!

Nope, can't be bothered with multiplayer games unless I can see who I'm playing and take the mick.

I must just be crap at this game, because I'm finding it hard on the easy level. Grrrr.

Have you played multiplayer yet wookie? Thats really good, if a little initially inaccessable.

The Special Edition is the one I have.

The only zombie guys I've had trouble with so far are the ones that are covered in flames.

The others I just either blow up with grenades, shoot their heads til they crumble or if they've got armour I shoot their legs.

I'll have to get that special edition just to get the extra stuff now...

I saw this game the other day for £20, it's new special edition. It has new multiplayer maps and a map editor, but also the origanal escape from castle wolfenstein as well. Might get it next months.

I agree the game is bloody hard. Especially the later levels...

If you have the flamethrower, then use that, but i cant remember if you are able to find it that early on. I switched to the mauser rifle sometimes, as 2-3 headshots will blow them away, you need the SMG ammo for the later parts.

Yeah, the MP40 doesn't do squat, you need the British Sten gun (I think that's what it is, it's been a while since I played)

this game was very easy and i started on hard. The zombie guys need headshots, use the silenced machine gun when possible as it blows em up quicker. The blokes with the shields are best dealt wtih with leg shots as you avoid richocets. of their helmets and shields. best option is often to shoot whilst running backwards away from them so it takes em longer to reach you as few enemies have projectile attacks.
