Now, I don't think it effects me too much, it doesn't make me QUAKE in fear and I'm not DOOMed from it, it doesn't scare the LIVING DAYLIGHTS from me either, I won't go BERZERK and I don't need a packet of SETTLERS for my stomach either. No, what I have isn't a STATE OF EMERGENCY but a way of life. Don't worry thoug, it's not a NIGHTMARE.
My life is taken up with other tasks now, like getting in the loft for an ATTIC ATTACK or BREAKOUT some cases of wine for the evening when it's BURGERTIME, sometimes I get out in the garden for a little DIG DUG. I do so much cleaning away, when other people ask me to play, I have to say to them "I have to PAC MAN".
I do seem to be a DEFENDER of the need to play games though, all the shoot-em-ups, the fighting games and THE SIMS. I feel there is always some need for excitement, and a NEED FOR SPEED that you can't get in real life. Some of these arguements would turn in to ADVANCE WARS if I wasn't careful. I always seem to come out TOPGUN though, after all, I wouldn't want to be CANNON FODDER for anyone. To me, the whole arguement is BLACK AND WHITE anyway, I mean, games are great, aren't they?
Well, THE THING is, the other day I found myself ALONE IN THE DARK, in my old loft, and found an old Atari VCS system, it was in a SILVER box and I found some old games too. Great, I thought, going back to these games was like my FINAL FANTASY. I turned it on and was immediately captured like a PRISONER OF WAR by the nostalgia. Mind you, looking at the prices of some of the old games on the net, I might have to commit GRAND THEFT AUTO to buy any more (although THE GETAWAY would be pretty hard in this area)!
Well, I better stop this before I BURNOUT, I've TEKKEN enough time to write this, after all. So I'll throw down the GAUNTLET to anyone who has more games on the brain than me.
