"ftp connection problems with IE and WIse-FTP"

I signed up yesterday and ive followed the instructions for setting up the ftp for both internet explorer and wise-ftp but neither will allow me to connect. Both say that the ftp connection was terminated. I am not on freeola internet but i have signed up for web freedom. In wise-ftp it says the host name is ok and the username is ok but the password is wrong i have copied the password straight off the page and i have typed it in but neither will work. If anyone could tell me whats wrong I would be very gracious.

Hi kcannon, welcome to the forums (you seem to have posted this a few times???)

I've only just signed up for Web Freedom myself - did you realise that all Web Freedom FTP passwords were changed yesterday? Visit your MyFreeola account to see the new password.

Also if you are using IE7 you also need to check a couple of things:

First check this setting in IE7:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab
Tick: Enable FTP Folder view (outside of Internet Explorer)

If it still fails - after the failure message, click File > Login As… and use your sr number and password.
