You may well have read it in todays papers but this made me laugh so I thought that I would share with all that care.
As many of you know the 'Queens of the stone age' new album is called 'Songs for the deaf', and at a recent concert by the band they actualy had 'large party' of deaf people turn up insisting that they were there to hear(?) some 'songs for the deaf' because thats what the poster said.
Only the bouncers didn't really understand sign language, and our hearing bereft friends left quite angry after it was explained to them that it might not quite be what they were after.

No offence to every deaf person but those people who went to it ae total idiots, did they expect a screen with the lyrics on it behind the band or sumin. Did they expect the band to wait afterwards so they could do the whole thing in sign language for the deaf people. God I hope they didnt get affended after it. What idiots though.

On Pearl Jams last american tour they had quite a lot of deaf people coming to their gigs. They even had someone signing the songs at one gig - its on the Touring Band DVD if you wanna check it out.
