Well, it's been done quicker than the X360 or PS3. Not sure how official Wii system updates affect it though. I haven't done it myself but it looks as though it's all genuine. There's a MAME emulator out already, but apart from that I'm not quite sure what homebrew actually exists.
I think I'll stick with an unmodded machine for now.

and I'll stick to a modded Xbox for MAME etc and keep my Wii for lovely Wii gaming! But nice to know that exploit is getting some more development.
That's pretty cool... I've been thinking about getting some homebrew action through the TLoZ:TP savegame hack, but never had the time.
