This truly is disappointing.

Anyone who owns or has seen the luscious Japanese artwork for the Dreamcast version will be sorely disappointed at this travesty.

Yeah, though I own and have completed Shenmue II on the Dreamcast many times. I will still be getting it on Xbox.
For one thing I want the Shenmue Movie and also hopefully Shenmue III will come out on Xbox meaning that mastering moves will actually mean something :).

I cant wait for this game to come out it will be amazing :)

I think the Shenmue series is beautiful. I find the whole gameworld inspirational.
For me, the games are like reading a book - you've got to slow down a bit and just play and take it in. It's not about action, it's about "place".
The graphics are the best I've ever seen (from a consistent, detailed point of view).

I really hope that box art is a fake, it had better be some sick joke, because I have the PAL Shenmue 2 and the box art is wonderful...... This box art is well....... poor!

I own both Shenmue 1 and 2 for the Dreamcast and those games are not boring! Dusting the wall is just a little piece of gaming master-piece that helps to un-cover the rest of the story, how many game have you played that have you catching leaves? Now that is originality! Shenmue 2 is a lot more aciton packed than the first one and the oly disappointing bit it this start of Disc 4 where you have to run through the wood doing QTE's, the rest of the game is excellent!

I don't like the X-box version cover. It's misleading. It makes the game look interesting and filled with action, but it's slow, boring and very tedious! I mean, which Japanese developer guy had the strange idea that brushing dust off a wall was fun?

The cover is a good eye-catcher, the game is an eye-catcher too, though it plays like a snail races (except when under the influence of alchohol).
