I am talking about the feature in the 2000 game which made it stand out from the original. The Building architect editor! What? No, he's wrong, there was one in 3000, but, they left out one major feature, the ability to create entire sets of buildings, edit the originals or use the ones provided by the game. There were quite a few building sets given on offer to the user, my favourite is the futuristic set, with my favourite building the animated windmill. But the simplisity to change between sets was great, and you could marvel at your city in different styles and times, which i think adds more verity and originallity to each city.
So with the 4th game on the horizon, wouldnt it be nice to see those futuristic buildings and ideas from 2000 put in the graphical genious game Simcity 4? Or even add the entire feauture of the building editor, with the different sets of buildings, to it. Not it some cruddy expansion like in the 3000 game, with only a couple of building sets, but compiled with the game with more sets and the return of the futuristic set.
If anyone has ideas on this, post em to me. Simon
