Why is it that so many games are released around Christmas time. There are more games released in September to December than the rest of the months put together, and usually there are loads of good ones. In my case, I've worked out I need to spend about £520 on the games I want. Whereas I haven't bought any PS2 games in the last 5 months or so. What's with that?

The run up to christmas, the time for cheap cash ins and a time to make a quick couple of quid
usually people have alot of money around christmas time plus you've got the holiday so that's when most people are likely to buy stuff. That's why everyone rushes out to make a game for christmas so hopefully they'll get the number 1 spot and make tons of money. Though i don't see why they don't release it in August or something as there's no good games so no competition
£520 equates to 13 games ?, you can be sure at least a couple will be delayed till next year, a couple will be rush jobs (not good enough to warrant being bought) and prehaps a couple more will be slated by the mags.
Leaving you with a lot smaller outlay, I wish this wasn't the way but experience points me in this direction. What are the 13 or so games ?
