Boycott the whole Notable thing. I mean, what's the point in having notables? People should have a reputation because of writing funny things, because of being friendly and fun to talk to. Not for having a fancy name. I'm sure all of the current notable's deserved their yellow names, but the fact is I rarely see members such as Sniper, and even then all the notable's act as normal members. People should stand out because of their posts - not the colour of their name.
So don't vote tomorrow. Don't even enter the voting thread. I'm sure whoever wins can feel mighty proud of themselves and wear their little coloured name badge, but myself, I'm not going to vote. It's pointless, and makes the forums a battleground of 'Vote Me' topics and what not.
And I take responsibility for starting the tidal wave of 'Vote Me' topics, but it was only to fulfill Snuggly's wishes to make the forums a more lively place. And I suppose it works.
