In Innovations catalogue, they advertise a phone that flashes when the phone is ringing, so that deaf people know when the phone is ringing. I see two inherent flaws with this.
1) You wouldn't know the phone was ringing if you were in another room, as you coudn't see the light.
2)Why the hell would a deaf person want a phone? They can't use them. Imagine trying to talk to a deaf person on a phone. What use would knowing when the phone was ringing be, if they couldn't use a phone.
