"Mew on SSBM..."

Has anyone thrown a poke'ball and Mew comes out? I'm just wodering because it happened to me and afterwards it said 'You've encountered Mew'. What does he do, if anything?

I got him ages ago on a pokemon tourney roadshow, i was lucky to get into the thing. But when i got an official mew on pokemon blue i was really excited. Now he's locked away in a cupboard, ah well, only a few pixels :-D

I still can't see why pokemon used to be so addictive.

I got Mew on Pokemon Silver a few years back, he rocked!

Actually Mew is a special event, which you need to get all to recieve the Celebi trophy.

Mew is in there for those who still are into Pokémon big time. He doesn't do anything other than make a few American kids go:

"Oh wow! The rarest Pokémon!"

Until he's appeared about 6 or 7 times throughout the day that is...
