i thought in thi world cup brazil were playing rubbish, defensively that is. the only "proper" defender was lucio, but even he got up the pitch and did a bit of showboating.edmilson was good in the final, but in previous games, he made glaring errors, and although he scored when he went up the pitch, he left large holes in the defense. however, gilberto silva pretty much saved brazil from letting in so many goals, in his defensive midfield role.

Nope, they actually played some good attacking football, and scored two goals more than France. Losing only one game to a penalty...

nope. im hoping hollland qualify next year, they were by far the best team in euro 2000, the most exciting anyway

I believe Argentina were just as pathetic in this year's World Cup as well. Let's all hope civil war breaks out there ASAP.

They also lost becasue Henry lost his head and Trezeguet heavily underperformed....

They didnt even score a goal in the world cup did they?

well, I think they world have made it to the semi-finals. Zidane is a
very skilled player and everyone was expecting too much from him. They lost not because of him, but because they underestimated some teams.

Brilliant!! i think pires is the best lpayer in arsenal xept maybe llungberg, henry or bergkamp. dyu reckon france would have got further in the world cup if pires and zidane had been fit?
