Oh wait, you can't understand that. Again, for TOSH:
"i dont thin ne1 paid u a comlent."
Saying that, I'd hope cel-shading isn't the future, simply because we'll get bored with it just like how now we're getting bored with 3D
> I,M starting this topic cos everyone complains about cel shading
> saying its babyish when if the visuals arent just like before great
> they look perfect for zelda and the gameplay is magic.
In English: I'm starting this topic because everyone complains about cel-shading, saying it's 'babyish', whereas if the visuals aren't like they were before, they look perfect for Zelda and the gameplay is magic.
My response: Those who criticise it, often don't know what they're talking about, claiming that cel-shading is 2-D when infact it is still 3-D. I've never complained about cel-shading and believe, if anything, cel-shading will improve the levels of fun in games, allowing them to be more smooth and fluid in motion, whilst stimulating the imagination more than the games which supposedly contain 'realistic' graphics would.
so lets just
> stick with the link we,v got and the gamplay is just as good as a
> realistick game why bother moaning with games such xlll and cel damage
> note cel damage is not very good.
In english: So let's just stick with the Link we've got. The Gameplay is just as good and as realistic, so why bother moaning that games such as XIII contain and Cel Damage contain cel-shading? Note: Cel Damage is not very good.
My Response: I have to say I prefer the way Link looked in Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask, as that was similar to what his original character was supposed to look like. However, although Nintendo haven't confirmed this, there are meant to be many generations throughout Hylian history where a Princess Zelda and a Link had adventures together in some shape or form. However, this doesn't mean I dislike the new look for the GameCube's Zelda game. It's the game I've been looking forward to the most, ever since I first heard it was in development! After all, I've not been disappointed with a single Zelda game yet (excluding CD-i and NES versions which I don't have) and each one has been better than the last (excluding Majora's Mask which I got bored with fairly quickly). It's a whole new adventure and I expect it to be great!
I think thay cel shading the way
> forward for nintendo it has great gameplay and if miyamoto uses it it
> s got to be great.
In English: I think that cel-shading is the way forward. It has great gameplay and if Miyamoto uses it, it's got to be great.
My response: Well I'm not too sure how a style of graphics alone brings us great gameplay, but I do agree it's a brilliant graphics style to make games with!
so just let it be it will be great i know the zelda
> is hated by a few but i think it looks stunning and with games like
> zelda moving to cel shading is cel shading the future of nintendo
In English: So just let it be. It will be great! I know Zelda is hated by a few but I think it looks stunning and with games like Zelda moving to cel-shading, is cel-shading the future of Nintendo?
My Response: I agree! The next Zelda game is going to be brilliant, and the cel-shading isn't going to be anything for any Zelda fan to worry about! Once you start playing, you wont even notice the different graphics style! You'll be so hooked to the game that you'll soon be wondering what all the fuss is about! The trouble with some people is that they judge before they play. Sure, I could be wrong, the game could be terrible, but atleast I'm willing to try it! If you judge by graphics alone, you're obviously not worthy of the title 'hardcore gamer'.
