Another underground UK act, I first heard the track 'Seraph' on a Lockjaw records compilation for unsigned bands. The fact that I bought their CD after hearing one track should convince you that 'Seraph' is a damn good track. No? Seraph remains my favourite song on this five track demo CD. It has duel melodic and screamo style vocals mixed to great effect, and passionately sung lyrics. I could go into more detail, but suffice to say I love this track and 'Seraph' alone is worth five times the asking price for this CD.
While 'Seraph' remains my firm favourite, it's far from the only good track here. I think one of the best aspects here is the variation in songs. While I would loosely categorize 'Seraph' as emocore, 'Spineless' is pretty much a balls-out sh*t-kicking metallic anthem, while 'Fenix' and 'Landing Lights' both have a pop-punk sensibility to them, but with the twist of duel melodic and metallic vocals. On 'Fenix' especially the metallic vocals sound on the verge of breakdown.
The songs really do have to be heard. Each song has a unique style, and almost defies being put into any particular genre. I bet there aren't many bands who would think to mix metallic vocals into a catchy pop-punk style song. And it costs £2. Yep. If there was an award for the best value for money CD around, this could well be it. Worth every penny and a hell of a lot more. I'm very much looking forward to hearing more material by HeroesForSale.

There's definitely emo in there, but theres also hardcore as you say, and the shouty bits are like metal.
Emo-metalcore. :)
