"With or without a Memory Card???"

There is something that I am not beginning to wonder. I have got contradictions from Special Reserve, and The Official Playstation 2 Magazine. In the magazine it says that with the Playstation 2 Pack, there is no mention of a Memory Card Included. But, in the Special Reserve Magazine, it says that it DOES supply the Memory Card. Are Special Reserve confused, and just said it is from the start because at the time they did not know we would get Hardware Decoding, or are they going to supply it from Special Reserve only???

I contacted Special Reserve today, and I now know that there will be NO Memory Card in the PS2 pack, no matter where you buy it from, as for the normal price of £299, there is no Memory Card, you either buy it for £24.99 from Special Reserve, or if you can't be bothered, then you can always buy one from a place like Electronic Boutique for £27.49 (Official Price) all I know is that it is going to be one tight Christmas, but it almost seems worth it!!!

I'm 99% sure that you won't get a memory card in the box with your PS2 - You'll have to buy it separately. (Can I spell?!)

I was just wondering that, as it is confusing when these 2 magazines are saying 2 things completely different. I would more likely believe the Official, because, well, it's Official, and Special Reserve isn't! I will phone SR up today though and find out the real answer, seeing whether I have to shell out £27.49 at EB, and fight my way through all the crowds on Friday!!!

Right there is NO memory card to be issued as of right with a PS2 from Sony, that was only for the Japanese launch as the DVD drivers came on memory card. They may come in a pack from the retailer which is likely, youll have to check the specific retailer for that.
