With joey jordinson and corey tayor and jim root 'demasking' them selves have they ruined the whole slipknot image. in my opion they have yes as that is what appealed to me with them. the whole mystery of what they were like.
They ruined Slipknot by starting it. Shame that, they were much better when they were working steadily towards a career as monkeys in a zoo. Then they decided to write, and I use write in its vaguest form, "music."
I hate them. I hate those kids walking around with Slipknot and Korn and Limp Bizkit hoodies. I hate those masks they wear. I hate that I have to throw little kids off the music stands at Virgin when they've been listening to Silver Side Up 10 times just so I can listen to Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots.

I....despise....Slipknot...
Slipknot was ruined the moment they started, they have never been good and never will be.
They are sick, there music is painful to listen to, they have that really sad 'take off our masks and we die' ritual...
Slipknot ruined themselves.

Since when was music a fashion statement?
Nothing is intrinsic to a band apart from their music. If you like the music then who cares whether they're wearing masks or performing monkeys? If you really believe that the masks are important then you aren't a fan because of their music, you're just buying into an image. and that's what sucks.
Slipknot are not my thing and I don't like their music, but my preferences have nothing to do with the presence of masks or otherwise.

i agree i never wanted them to be unmasked because they looked good in them
