did anyone hear about those mixed up exam results in Scotland.It really is Shocking.but there is bound to be a mix up somewhere along the line isn't there?
Apparently there was a question in this years Maths paper that was unanswerable
This year wasnt a patch on 2 years ago. That was really bad.
Wasn't really a mix up, just an error with one of the computer systems for UCAS (People who deal with university entrants) which awarded people a grade they didn't get. There system showed people who just failed an exam as gettinga C pass. People knew the results they got so no chaos was caused with the students.
When I sat my highers it was the year everything was messed up, we had a question in the maths paper which couldn't be answered, incorrect results, and delayed corrections to final results. It sucked in a big way.
It does look like they did a lot better this year only the error made by UCAS messed it up a little.
As part of my uni course I studied why things went wrong the year I sat my highers, I found out a lot of info that gave a good view of why things went so wrong. Think they learned from all this.
