You can manage as many teams as you want from twenty-six worldwide leagues. You can also make notes on players, compare players and even send players away for surgery to repair recurring injuries.
One of the features that makes Championship Manager so realistic is the interaction with the media. The database is so large the reporters from local papers will comment on your team’s performance. (e.g. – small town papers are even in it).
Also you have to deal with the manager’s nightmare. Moody players and angry fans. Players will complain if there pay is to low, if they are being played out of position or if they aren’t even being played.
The game doesn’t leave anything out of real life management. For example if you have a player sent off you can appeal to the FA and you can have meetings with the board to talk about money, increasing the squad and improving the ground.
If you are doing well then you will increase you manager reputation. This will put you in the picture for positions at other clubs.
If you are a great manager you may even get a place in the Managers Hall of Fame.
You can also become a national manager but also manage a club because there can be months between games.
Overall this game is one I would recommend to have in your collection. This is because it is very enjoyable and it never ends. You can play for as many seasons as you want.
I heard LMA manager 2003 is coming to xbox next year.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Conflict Desert Storm
24 DVD Box-Set
They are taking priority at the moment and with me getting a 5.1 system in the next few weeks I am hoping to get a game that does actually have some sounds that will shake the floor and kill the cat... I mean wake the cat. Anyway thats my evil game/DVD plan and unless I under-go a big change it will remain this way.
I've not bought the XBOX version as yet, but with the new season kicking off and all, I'm tempted to delve into the management arena once again.
