Ok I am currently using netscape 4.7 (I think) and the mail is set up to recieve e-mail from uni. But the uni have changed the security system for getting mail off campus. Only secure (SSL) versions of IMAP(email) and POP3(email) can be recieved which netscape 4.7 dosn't support.
I know it is possible to run a program called Stunnel to pretend to be a SSL connection which would work but sounds pretty tricky to set up.

Anyone know any other programs that so the same?
Does netscape 6 support this e-mail?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have netscape 6 on disk so I might try instal it ans see if it works. If not I'll see what else i can get that will do the same.
Starting to wish I had a mac now. :-)

I would have thought so - I have Netscape 7.0 so i can't check

Not sure about Netscape 6. But Outlook Express 5.5/6.0 does.
