And, most people want to know exactly what the freeloader is and what it will do, so I'll tell you.
The freeloader is a normal gamecube disc (apart from not having a game on it..) and what you do is put the disc in your gamecube (surprise, surprise) and a menu will appear then you just load the disc up and place your game in. VOILA!
Quick and easy. The only thing I don't know is if you have to put the load the disc everytime you play an import game, but I think you WILL have to.
and another thing you might want to know
The freeloader is only compatible with NSTC compatible TV's (bad news for some people)
And another thing I know, I've ordered a freeloader and mazza sunshine (us) I'm not sure my TV is NSTC compatible but I'm willing to take the risk. =I
:(~
I don't think mine is
:(
The freeloader cheap prices and more
but I might have to post it tomorrow cos It has hyper links in it and I might not be able to find the sites.
However there's still a problem, that being that there is actually TWO different NTSC signals. One is 4.58, which is NTSC in black and white, and the other is 3.46, which is 'pure' NTSC. Now whether or not FreeLoader supports both formats (or indeed, your television itself) is unbeknownst to me, so perhaps you can shed light on the subject?
I don't mind shovin the disc in every time to play though, because from my experience with Melee and even Tony Hawks they load pretty quick! And it looks like this release date is going to stick too, even better.
