Each Console as there best makers as everyone know but which one of those is the best maker out of them all. Well then The N64 had rare, The maker of such good games like conkers bad fur day, Diddy kong racing and the best first person shooter goldeneye. The Xbox has Activison who made such good games Such as Tonyhawks3 and Dave mera 2 and Bungie who made the oustanding halo for the xbox. And for the Ps2 Ea sports who made 007 agent under fire, Fifa 2002 and other Football games on the ps2. And of course how could we foget the gamecube, With it only being released only about 4 months ago it already as some good games like Smash bros which was made by nintendo itslef and luigs mansion. But out of the lot it is very difficult to decide who is the best maker but in my opion Rare has to be the best maker, Anyone who makes Conkers bad fur day has got to be the best maker, Closely followed by ea Sports(as i am a huge fan of Fifa) And then Activision in 3rd place with tony hawks 3 and Dave mera still good games tho. Plz give me your views on this

Konami and Rare would be a joint second for me. Konami produce consistently quality games (MG Series, Pro Evo, etc) and Rare also have that imagination and special touch Nintendo have, but perhaps not so much.
is right among the best and most inovative in the buissnes. I also like
Enix(makers of great RPGs for variuos consoles-most PS lately). I generaly
prefer Japanese developers(Konami, Capcom, Namco, Square, Gamearts). I only wish more of their games are published in Europe 'cos some of the best games of last decade were never published here. That is a great shame. Well, maybe future will tell.
EA... not really fans of them. Fifa liscenses just reek of them cashing in, rather than innovating something.
Activision, I'm not really aware of many of their titles anymore apart from their 'Extreme' franchises like Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra etc. But Activision don't make those games. They publish them, rather than develop them. The developers are Neversoft I believe? Well, I'll comment on the Tony Hawks series anyway. I like the titles, though the major problem is that- like the Fifa series- not enough is added that is new. In the second edition it just added some new tricks and the manual to carry on across flatland. Same with no. 3, new tricks and the revert to carry on a combo after a vert trick. Good ideas, but hardly a breakthrough was it?
Nintendo and Rare are among my favourite developers. Nintendo rarely disappoint and bring some genuinely innovative and occasionaly revolutionary games to their consoles. And Rare are just as good as Nintendo when they want to be. Plus they have a great 'British' sense of humour :-)
