I was cleaning my room and came across an old booklet of cheats from Special Reserve (back when there were apparently 6 club shops).

Had a quick read through and have to say some of the cheats were quite amusing. Apparently if you held UP for 20 seconds and pressed B in Goldeneye, you got a Bazooka. MM.. interesting that.

I then stopped reading because the text was way too small and it was hurting my eyes.

That one isn't rubbish. Lets me decode it for you...

After you defeat Bowser for the first time, goto the wall with the Lava level painting on, turn left and follow the path round until you reach a wall.

By walking up to this wall it will make waves, like the painting level entries.

Jump into it.

This will take you to sand land.

Half the cheats in the book don't work, they just print out stuff that is posted, all of it, even if it don't work.

*Chuckles*

Close enough. ;)
Y'know, if you're quick, Schroeder is taking the blame for stuff in the bugs forum. If you're after shouting at a scapegoat, I'm sure its all her fault those cheats got printed.

Ok I'm not sure about this cheat but it sounds suspect. In Mario 64 when you beat Bowser for the first time, "go by the lava and turn left then go further until a wall makes waves and jump in it." Now this is the most suspect thing about it. Apparently it takes you to and I quote "Sh*$£^% Sand Land".

I take it that's not true, because it sounds ridiculous. Who used to check this rubbish! And if they are still at the company why? :)
