The official one that I got with the GC seems to have broken, the big grey stick as fallen slightly into the controller. I can pull it out again but it just sinks back in once I start to play with it...

It plays fine but do you think that it will get worse?

I bought it from Toys 'r' us, should I get them to change it or contact Nintendo?

Anybody else had this problem either?

I've not had any trouble with my official controller... Does it effect the sensitivity of the stick...?

Also, how long you had the controller for? Hopefully the 90 day warranty will still be valid. If not just march in there and say you want a replacement. If they say the warrantys out or something, just say that the control has to be of merchantable quality under the consumer goods act. We learnt that in business studies. Apparently, say that to them and they'll just replace it or you could sue them... :D
