When I saw Eight Legged Freaks, there was a brilliant trailer for the upcoming Matrix films. I downloaded it and here's a transcript for anyone interested.

The trademark Matrix numbers come up and then Neo's eyes open and close quickly.

Morpheus: I believe it is our fate to be here.

Then we see a crowd of barbarians cheering and Trinity doing her infamous slow-mo kick.

Morpheus: It is our destiny.

Neo beats up a Japanese guy and one of the agents walks through a deserted park, as all the birds fly away.

Morpheus: I believe this night holds, for each and every one of us, the very meaning of our lives.

Some chinese people try to slice Neo with katanas, but he flies up to a flight of stairs, getting away from them.

Morpheus: This is a war, and we are soldiers.

Another crowd of barbarians cheer. A mounted gunner on a car shoots the car in front. Trinity and Morpheus chase a man through a hallway and Trinity and what looks like an agent dive off a bridge onto a lorry. Trinity pulls up in a car riddled with bullets. A car explodes on a bridge. Neo beats up a Japanese guy. Trinity cartwheels backwards out of the way of an unseen enemy emerging from the elevator.

Morpheus: What if tomorrow, the war could be over, isn't that worth fighting for?

On a highway, a car flips over. Morpheus swings his katana around. Some people fly down from a stairway, swinging their katanas. Neo kisses Trinity.

Morpheus: Isn't that worth dying for?

There is a flash of various clips, in between the Matrix code, and then Neo is fighting various enemies, diving in slow motion. He is fighting someone, when the screen blanks out.

Rage Against The Machine boom in the background as Neo is plugged into the Matrix and looks hard.

Looks very cool, especially if the soundtrack has RATM on :D

I like it when you don't have to wait long to see the next sequel, so am glad the two films will be released only weeks/months apart. I just hope they are as good as the original, but the directors have had enough time to better their predecessor.

Reloaded (Matrix 2) comes out in the summer, Revelations (Matrix 3) comes out like a month after (or even less, I can't remember) So you could go see #2, then see #3 in the same day (though that'd be poop as you'd forget the stuff that happened in #2)

Muah! I'll be 15 by next summer, which means all I have to do is cross my fingers that both films are 15, which I expect both will be.

Saw the trailer a few weeks back, and even though it was just a teaser, it was enough to get me exited about the film again.

I was a bit annoyed that we'd have to wait until 'next' summer to watch the film though, but from what I hear this is because the directors filmed both films together, very much like how the LOTR was shot.

I also hear because of this, both films will be released next year, though I don't know how true this claim is. It's still be great though if we where given the chance to watch both sequels instead of waitng even longer to see the series final conclusion.

Rage were on the original film, as the main theme ('Wake Up')

I think they've kept it as a trademark for the films...

Yeah, that one's been around for a while now.

I see the teaser poster for Matrix Reloaded. £55 it was, but it was a hologram-type poster. Quite impressive.
