After the Financial Crisis that hit them at the end of the last season (2001/02), the end was nigh for a club that could once boast the likes of Gabriel Batistuta and Nuno Gomes.

But now they're back... only problem is that they now have none of their 'big stars' from before, and they'll now have to work their way back upto the top from the bottom - in the lowest Proffesional Italian League known-as 'Serie C2'.

On a squad built-up of purely home-grown talents this could take some time...

We may not see them again in the Champions League for a good few years then! Will they ever get back to 'their best'??

did you hear what almost happened to Lazio and Roma? A few weeks ago they were told that they had to reach specific guidelines to do with money within 6 days or they would be chucked out of the league for 1 season.

It was gonna happen sooner or later.

A load of clubs are in financial trouble down there.

Somthin has gotta be done quick about these stupidly large player wages before this thing repeats itself all over europe.
