I own a UK GBA and have been looking on ebay to buy games from the USA, can someone please tell me if game cartridges can be played on all consoles so enabling me to play US cartridges on my UK console. Thanks in advance.

I too have US Game Boy games:
Pokémon Yellow
Pokémon Pinball
Wario Land 2
Each of them say on the box 'Not for use, sale or retail (something like that) outside USA, Canada or Mexico'.

Couldn't have put it better myself, I can back this up as I have a US version of Pokemon Silver and it works fine on both of my Game Boy's (Advance and Pocket)!
No GBA games are region free, so your american games will work on your UK GBA.
