Sheesh, I'm starting to hate Win98 more and more each day, although i'm sure it has more to do with me than i'd like to think :)
basically, when my PC loads up, I have to wait for MSN to load before I can use any software, I can search the net as long as it isn't Hotmail..etc as it needs Messenger.
I have messenger on automatic startup, this is how I can tell when all my software is working, so it must be something that messenger needs thats been playing up for a while, or messenger is causing some kind of error.

My current situation is: MSN won't load, i've tried a few things to get it running again but havn't been sucessful. I need it to run or to delete it completely as I can't use much on my PC...

Internet Explorer,
games,
HTML editor,

so i'm kinda stuck, please, please help me.

Well, i'm pretty sure it was my fault, just wndering if anyone knew what my PC would need to run messenger, Win98 has been fine up until my new PC, which I guess is good. Obviously XP would be better but i'd have to go for 2K instead as my dad's got some old software that he uses a lot and I don't think it would run on XP.

Have you tried XP? It's much more stable than any previous versions (MS was right for once) and hasn't crashed on me yet.
