"Legend of Zelda timeline"

since the new Legend of Zelda Gamecube game has been annouced there have questions that are starting to annoy me because I alreadey know the answer to, it is: where in the timeline does the new GC Zelda fit in?
The GC Zelda comes in before all of the other games, before Ocarina of time and majora's mask.
The timeline goes like this:
1)GC Zelda (GC)
2)Ocarina of time (N64)
3)Majora's mask (N64)
4)The Legend of Zelda (Nes)
5)The adventures of Link (Nes)
6)A Link to the past (Snes)
7)Link's awakening (GB)
8)Oracle of ages (GBC)
9)Oracle of seasons

Bigmans right this is a timeline of how the games stories happened in the hyrule texts

Ocarina Of Time should ALSO be 10 then.

I think this is a timeline of how they happened (like Link's Awakening was set after a Link To the Past)!

That's a weird timeline. I'm sure Majora's Mask was out before Ocarina Of Time.

Is that a line of how good they are??
