Do any of you know any decent motor insurance companies that are competitive for young drivers and are fairly cheap? im getting some silly prices at the moment, thanks.

Car insurances change a lot from person to person so they may have found a company to be cheap but it's unlikly they'll give you the same offer.
Somy online insurance companies like: http://elephant.co.uk I can't think of any others, search http://google.co.uk for more, but they seem to be quite good.
Failing that, grab your '|Yellow Pages' book and phone all the 0800 car insurance companies.
Norwich Union is what i'm with, i'm paying £200 and i'm a second driver under my sister whos been driving 1 year.
