"Devil May Care?"

Capcom have just released onto the web screenshots from their Demon 'em up 'Devil May Cry'. It looks like a gothic horror vampirey sort of game. Originally meant to be a Resident Evil clone for the PS2, Capcom reportedly decided to go for something a little bit different (Dante, the hero, is a cross between a human and a demon for example, so we can all relate to the lead character then....). The game revolves around killing demons, and that's, er, it.
The thing is, why bother releasing screenshots now when the game is not going to come out on the PS2 until Christmas 2001, over a year away? Aren't they going to overhype it a little? I can understand the marketing ploy of trying to whet our appetites early on, to psyche us up and start saving, but 13 months before release? Give us a break. I think that about 6 months would be ok, not a whole year.

Sorry, Babylonian, my source was a rival site to this one so I can't name it, but they e-mailed me today about 2 hours ago and said Christmas, which I suppose in gaming terms translates as Summer 2001 anyway. ;-)

Actually, it's billed as Summer 2001 - at least it is in the video clip. (Yes, I downloaded all 17Mb of it!)

So, it is only 6 or 7 months away.

Girls are worse drivers because of confidence, for years they have been named as the worst sex of drivers, not as good as the man! ha ha, so they have all this pressure on them, my sister nearly killed my car the other day, just driving it up the g@d damn drive! and i just got my new wheels fitted, sorry i don't have time to talk about games anymore.

I went driving for the first time on Wednesday. I couldn't believe how easy it was, I thought it would be much harder.

We went on a little course with our school, and got to drive around a big course. Long streches, cone slaloms. You know.

I didn't hit one cone, I was so proud.

BUT. Just about every single girl messed up the driving.

Excuse my sexism, I'm getting to a point.

And most boys did really well.

You see, I blame our impressive driving on the amount of games we boys play. I.E. The girls don't, therefore they are bad drivers.

All down to reactions, and being aware of everything around you. Like in Half-Life.

If you fail to notice the small gap in the vents, and fail to think that there maybe a crab alien lurching inside, you are going to lose your head.

Who says games are bad for you?

I want to play Zelda2! i'll be hoping for it to be posted through my door very soon, it was releasd today but I doubt i'll get it until next week(late) doesn't matter, i didn't pay for it, it COULD come next year and I wouldn't care, I want it soon though so don't stop it coming SR! I played around with my mini today and the revs were going so high I thought it's little engine was going to burn out, and because it's in my garage all the exhaust filled the room, I had to leave the bloomin air vents open didn't i! i'm not dead though so don't worry.

I'm looking forward to playing the Evil Dead game.

he can pay people to do it for him, I have enough money to buy a hampster, but not enough for a cage, or food, or anything, I think i'll buy the hamster and see how long it lasts with nothing, just keep it in a box. he could have a golden plated hampster and a golden mansion to put it in, it would probably have it's own butler.

No Fantasy i'm telling you, you will convert to this game in a second, you do things like the FF series but what you do changes you fate and theres ALWAYS a different ending and a different path to take, say if you help an old lady across the road you get notcied and get a grant from the major of the town from being such an outstanding citizen whereas if you shot everyone you met and became a crazed old man sitting in an old shed in the woods being hunted down by every policman in the world then you get the bad ending, you might stumble across a fossil on your path somewhere and find out that it's an alien species that excisted over 50,000,000 years ago, these examples have absolutly nothing to do with the game, as I wrote they ae just examples but I hope you atleast see the game when it comes out, i've got a copy coming to me for free, I think as hes so godamn rich and i used to be a good mate, we just went our seperate ways, he became rich and I, I sit on my chair and write on this site, who turned out better?
