what if nintendo brought out a cd that allowed you to play all your game boy games on the tv? it hopefully wouldn't cost much to bring it out as well?

what do you think?

i dont really care, but i am sure you will have something to say about it...

it does exist and u can buy them now but they invalidate your warrenty cos u have to clip it onto the circuit board or sumthing, it was in gamesmaster about 2months ago in the gadget section.

i think it scored 35%.

I expect they could do it with the gba link-up and a special disk. Maybe run the multiplayer through the cube with a split screen cube?

Would be a nice.. thing.

It would actually be a great peripheral, someone should write into NOM about it.

The Super Game Boy was popular on the Super NES, and allowed for gamers who wanted to play their collection of portable games at home on their TV screens instead.

I reckon a device to allow Game Boy Advance games on the GameCube would be just as popular. If it could play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games as well - even better!

Just because a game is designed for a portable device, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be played on a tiny screen!

what if you were at home and felt like playing a quick burst of pokemon silver or a bombeman? i dont much fancy having to play on the piddly little gameboy advance screen. thats really much more for when its being portable. so, whack in the disk, find the adaptor, and play without the backache of stooping down to see the screen,
*stops critisising domaye and starts critisising the GBA*
which i find incredibly awkard and uncomrortable being in between the buttons, iu have to bend down ever so slightly to see the screen, and after a while, i have to stop beacause my back hurts quite considerebly.

although its probably just me.
*looks embarrased*

As i understand it, there is (or is being developed) an adapter to run the gba display through a tv, using the gba as a controller.

Didn't pay much attention though, as i didn't really care :OP
