Have you ever bought or played one of those games that you just cannot finish without a little 'help'?
Me, for one. I couldn't do Resident Evil without the walkthrough book, it was impossible. I kept running out of ammo, getting eaten, munched by the doggies in the L-shaped corridor, not to mention that bloody plant!. But this is the only one that I've really had to admit defeat on. Apart from the odd arcade game here and there. Any others that you couldn't complete without a walkthrough/cheat code/cheat cartridge/hints etc.? Post it here.

Yeah, the end of Phantasy Star. The game was great all the way through, but after you defeat Lassic you got send back to see the Governer of Motovia. When you went to see him you fell in a pit trap, and had to go through a short maze. Eventually you fell into a corridor that just went in a circle. There was a hidden door that could only be seen when facing it, it wasn't anywhere obvious either, it was like after you fall follow the corridor after 2 right turns, take three steps then turn to your left!
