The "Nintendo Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
It simply breaks all the rules of the standard beat-'em-up and makes it a hell of a lot more interesting than the likes of the Tekken series!
This may be down to the range of much-loved Nintendo charcters included in the game, and the weapons and objects from games of the past.
Some believe that despite the fact that there are over 20 charcaters to unlock and play as, it's still not complete.
We've said before that the addittion of Sonic and co. would make it superb, but what about other Nintendo characters??
Who, if anyone, do you think is out there that needs to be included in any future Smash Bros. titles, along with the current crop.
Here are some of my ideas:
MegaMan
Darunia
one of the Zoras
a Déku
Skull Kid
Toad (OUT of Peaches dress!)
Wario and Waluigi
These are just a few ideas but i'm sure there are many more.
Remember, Nintendo characters ONLY!
None from SEGA, and none from Rare.
Yes, I know, but DK started with Nintendo where-as Jo Dark and Diddy didn't. And if Rare worked on the project it'd never get done! ;)
If you haven't got any ideas for characters then what about extra weapons and objects?? Maybe some more of the Mario 64 caps? Or Luigi's Poltergust 3000?
Get thinking! :)
I know that DK is Rare's version of DK but a few of their more original characters might've been nice too.
Conker (on his best behaviour with regards to language ofcourse), Joanna Dark and the Jet Force Gemini team are some examples.
What about Sonic, that would be cool!

I thought the same thing, then after seeing that most characters have counter-parts with similar moves, like Captain Falcon/Ganadorf and Marth/Roy, I releiased that Nintendo decided that Mario's counter-part would either be Dr.Mario or Wario, I guess they chose for Dr. Mario in the end...
DESTROY enemy's morale with his menacing grin stare! [B]
IMPLEMENT his formidable prancing attack! [B + > OR <]
STUN foes with his bag drop move! [B + DOWN]
THROW opponents into oblivion with his shoulder shake! [B + UP]
He should be in it too - along with the likes of Kid Icarus and the others on that ancient show that I can barely remember from about 12 years ago.
I also don't really see why Wario WASN'T in the GameCube game either.
What logical explanation could there be??
Wario should have been and Warluigi so I can punch the cucking funt in the face.
