Listening last night to local radio station, "South Wales No. 1 hit music station - Red Dragon FM", there was this one programme where people send in funny placenames and they call someone up from them.
Now there was one in Oregan, USA, called the "W******-bar". Supposedly it was a family restaurant owned by a family who went by the name starting with 'w' and ending in something that sounds like 'anchor'. Apparently it's under new management now but the name of the bar has stayed...
They even mentioned the website which was www.(sounds like 'anchors' with a w at the beginning)corner.com and it does exist and isn't anything to do with hardcore...'gaming'.
Apparently many 'events' happen there and it's supposed to be a fun bar to go to...might try it if I'm ever in Oregon (snigger)
WAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
I'm surprised they all dont eat in W******-Bar.
Just been to the web-site.
Quote from the home page: "The head Wan*er kept collecting more and more antiques, junk, knickknacks..."
They even sell stuff on-line.
I 'have' to buy those 'wan*er's corner' boxers. And the missus'll be getting the ladies' version of them as a birthday present. Even if it does mean getting a missus specially :OD
Still, i can't quite believe it's for real. It'd be a great marketing thing for the clothing range...
