My favourite band in a small venue playing all the songs I (and a few others here) know and love.
I'm just a little bit excited by this and today is going to crawl past like an old man on his knees.
And have managed to obtain a bunch of new songs, listening to them now and they goddamn.rock.like.a.mother:
English Pounds
Metric System
Walpole
Sea of Destruction
Navajo
If you are anywhere near Islington tonight, you'd be a fool to miss being a witness to evolution's finest hour.
But, no "Eight Times Over Miss October"?
Clutch just put them out for fans to get a taste.
But trust me, hear English Pounds live and be amazed.
Speaking of which, got back about an hour ago from witnessing Clutch.
Hottest gig I have ever been to in my life, literally.
Sweated through my t-shirt so it was stuck to me, couldn't move for clingy material and it's still sopping wet (can literally wring it out) now at 2am.
And too many people packed in, I couldn't move an inch sideways or back or forward, crushed in on all sides.
I lasted about 45 mins nr the front and we had to move to the back, just to catch some air and be able to move.#
But it goddamned rock. As expected.
And me and mate went to McDonalds before the gig and who's next to us in line?
Tim Sult - Clutch guitarist.
Was going to say something but what do you do? "Hello, I like your band and we're seeing you later" - so we let him eat in peace.
Neil Fallon is a born frontman and looks like Banky from Chasing Amy.
Songs played (as I can remember)
Pure Rock Fury
Brazenhead
Open up The Border
Who Wants To Rock?
Raised by Horses
One Eyed Dollar
The Elephant Riders
The Soapmakers
El Jefe Speaks
Walking in the Path of The Great Shining Monster Trucks
Shogun Named Marcus
Texan Book of The Dead
Impetus
Passive Restraints

Superb gig, if you get the chance to check them live you will *not* be dissapointed in any way.
New songs sound awesome, even more funky and groove than Sinkemlow & Red Horse Rainbow.
Excellent evening all round.
Support "Taint" and "Throat" sucked though.
Easy Breeze was cool too. Listenning to it again now actually. The singer has a rather unique voice, and way of singing, doesn't he? I like it.
Anyway errr haved fun(ed)
And now the link is right there beneath this, I'll check it out and give Clutch a chance.
"Woke up this morning

Dont ask me why
It's just the nature of my groove-a"
