Our Favourite games all contain some of Gaming's best and brightest stars, set in their own worlds with their own destiny, but what if they were to all swap roles? What would happen to them, let alone their own worlds and their destiny…

[1] Halo the Hedgehog.

Interesting one this, Master Chief decided to follow his dream of being the fastest Video Games character in history by running alongside tails, as he fights against the evil Dr. Eggman. Speeding through the levels at top speed, Master Chief can use his vast array of weapons to fight against any enemies lurking in his path, and by using his knowledge of combat and his amazing skills, he can take on Eggman with ease. Other games Master Chief has been interested in are Halo Spinball and Halo Adventure, which are both expected to be great hits, so keep a good look out for them in the near future!

[2] Super Mario Solid.

Mario has had enough with Bowser, and has opted for a Career change. He decided to take the place of Solid Snake and combat the evil Liquid Snake and Revolver Ocelot. New improvements have been added to the game, with the option to use green pipes to travel between locations, and Mushrooms, stars and coins have replaced weapons. Also, Ottacon has been left out, and replaced by Toad, who will offer advice throughout the entire game, in his whiny and somewhat repetitive voice. Of course, it goes without saying that Mario will get lots of cool gadgets, so expect to see a few smoke grenades and a cloaking device littered around the surroundings. Expect a release soon!

[3] The legend of Fox.

After Fox defeated Andross, he decided that Arwings weren't his thing and he traveled to Hyrule to take the place of Link. Not only will Fox be a great Hero, with his speed, knowledge and his cunning, he will also have a few of Links weapons and items upgraded. A few of which have been changed are Link's Sword, which is now a handy lightsabre, his Shield has been changed to Fox's deflector shield, and Link's bottles have been changed to some container capsules, which can hold more fish/milk/water/potion per cubic cm, and are more suited for travelling and carrying. Another big change is Fox's Dinosaur buddy from Starfox Adventures, which takes the place of Epona, who we can now report has been overworked on the local Lon Lon Ranch and has sadly passed away.
Expect to see familiar enemies, with the likes of Ganondorf, who now possesses Majora's Mask (Handy, that), and a surprise visit from Star Wolf, cleverly disguised as the Deku tree Sprout.
The Legend of Fox has already exceeded stock limits, so the lucky ones who preordered a few days ago can look forward to this great game months before anyone lese.

[4] Samus' Mansion.

Samus, who was set to star in Metroid Prime, has set out to find herself a nice place to settle down in, since her space colony was destroyed. She stumbled upon the Mansion, which had been cleared of Ghosts previously by Luigi, but has been invaded again. Professor E.Gadd has been left out of the game, as he was doing a hair-loss prevention advert at the time. The Poltergust 3000 has been updated, and the newer version, the Poltergust 3001 has many new features, some of which aren't really needed. Expect to see the usual Blowing out fire/water/ice and sucking in ghosts, but you also get the added benefit of a deep-fat fryer, a toaster, a drinks machine, coffee bean grinder and a fish tank as standard, with the added option to install a laptop and/or a microwave. The ghosts have also changed too, with the afterlife versions of AiAi the Monkey from super monkey ball, Princess Peach and the Ice climbers, who are all ready to take on Samus as she rids the Ghosts of her newly-purchased home.

[5] Banjo Snake.

Snake has replaced Kazooie, the red-crested breegull, after banjo and Kazooie fell out when they were discussing who should go in the backpack. Snake, who had been replaced by Mario, was looking for a new line of work, when he saw an ad in the window of the Gamers news. "Companion wanted, free home, ready to go on adventure. Please excuse bird-droppings and feathers in backpack, er, your home. Apply within." Snake jumped at the chance to go on an adventure, and a new home too! What could be better? Now, he sleeps all day in a backpack, lying there, waiting to be called for help. He was even made to wear a bird costume, as Banjo said, "The red brings out the colour of His eyes". Snake, now named Kasnakie, can't do much about it, as he signed a lifetime contract. Banjo has even offered for Snake to have plastic Surgery to allow him to have real wings, and it is reported that Snake has accepted the offer. Look out for this game next year, it is going to be one hec of an experience!

So you see, it is possible for Games characters to change roles, but they don't always turn out for the best…

Thanks for reading.
