I've just been reading about a new Survival Horror game due from Capcom next year, called Devil May Cry. And I started thinking about a combination of two of my favourite games...

What if... Hideo Kojima (of Metal Gear fame) and Shinji Mikami (of Resident Evil fame) were to pool resources and produce a Resident Evil game using the MGS2 engine?

How awesome would that be - the ability to sneak around, avoiding zombies etc., or popping them in the head from behind - just as you would in real life. Hiding in/under things, completely interactive scenery etc. Or adopting the gung-ho, Rambo style - charging around, blowing seven shades out of everything that moved.

The suspense that both of these games create, if combined, would surely result in the most trouser-soiling videogame creation ever.
