Can someone please tell me if there is an easy way to copy audio tapes on to the hard drive. I have some old tapes that are getting a bit worn and need to keep a record of them.

All you need to do is connect your hifi up to your computer via a couple of phono leads on one end and on the other the size that fits into a personal cd player's headphone socket. (This plugs into the line-in socket on your sound card).

Then download some software that will record the sound input as a wav file on your computer.
