This is a message with any one thinking of doing a console wars topic or a topic on about which console is better or what not.
Every console is now out in the 128bit era and at the time it was ok to talk about which one would win.
Now it is boring and all heard before, NO console is superior to another in the reason that people with Xbox will go with the fact it has got better specs, people with PS2 will say its sold more and people will say nintendo has that magic touch in their games.
The fact i until 2 of the console drop out of the race, will never happen i think, you can not say one console is the best.
Then the games are here just because one person loves MGS2 does not mean it is the best console, others will hate the game and this goes for any game out there.
There are bad points and good points with each console and i do not mind when people say something like "the GC is good because *insert something good* but it has the bad point in the fact that*insert something bad*"
Most people going on about how good one console is better than the rest is usally because they have the console or they think that they will get the most replys meaning they will win GAD, first of all that is not the case and secong of all people responding will of course be put into a biased veiw becausethe writer of the topic has said something bad about there console which then makes them write about how bad the other console is.
First of all i wish SR would delete these topics which are like this as the reader will have read it in another topic and also it takes room at the top making "better" topics go down never to be read which is unfair to the writer and the people who might of enjoyed reading that topic.
So please from now on stick to talking about games and new things for consoles but lay of the topics to do with one console better than another.
p.s. the people who usally start the topic do not listen to the replies and take notice of them and most proberley do not stay around to see what happens or decides not to as others are arguing with them.

I dunno about this, seems a little, erm, rubbish. From the manufacturers point of view, its sales that matter. If their product is selling well, then it is the most popular, and therefore a winner. Firstly, the PS2 had a head start, and now it outsells the competition every week. Its lead is big, and growing, which is why Sony are sitting happily, whilst Microsoft give out constant press releases grasping a any straw anywhere in an attempts to claw something, or anything back.
