i was wondering, if i brought a Ps2 pheripheral -gc converter, would i be able to buy a Ps2 light gun or steering wheel and use it? since there aren't many pheriphrals for the GC, i thought this might be a good idea in theory...
very interesting idea..
Not sure, but i'd think you could with the steering wheel.. as for the light gun.. i think it'd depend on the type of signal sent from the controller to console. I doubt the box could convert this, as there are no light gun cube games to base it on.. but it could be the same signal as for a pad button... in which case, it'd depend on whether the ps2 uses the equivalent of the same cube button..
Of course, that's all just speculation, and will only be useful to a ps2 and cube owning minority anyhow, seeing as steering wheels (and no doubt light guns if/when games which support them emerge) for the cube are available anyhow.
