- Ric 'Nature Boy' Flair is thinking of throwing his body into the governor's mansion as a Republican and quitting WWE. The deciding factor as to whether he runs will be his family.
- WWE are going to continue a promotional drive behind Rey Mysterio Jr. as almost everyone feels he is an 'attraction' type wrestler that could help live gates, and even rating if the Cruiserweight division can catch on like it did in WCW, while being centered around Rey Mysterio Jr. WWE also feels Mysterio Jr. has special marketing opportunities that others don't have, as they expect the 'Rey Jr.' masks they are planning on producing will be a hot item.
- Several sources are insisting Matt Hardy has heat with management in WWE. However, no one seems to know why, or at least won't say why. This seems to be the reason that Jeff Hardy has been taking-off in recent weeks for the RAW roster, while Matt Hardy is virtually nowhere to be seen.
- Wrestlers say that Triple H has continued to attend production meetings held by WWE that gives HHH a lot of power from a creative standpoint as he is a big part of saying what storylines can go forward and which won't make it to television. Steve Austin had originally spoken out against HHH attending such meetings, with the logical theory that wrestlers have no business doing such a thing. Austin succeeded in his attempt as HHH was restricted from attending production meetings for quite a while, but just about the day Austin walked out on the company, HHH got himself right back into the mix.
I'm off to see Austin Powers 3 now, so see you tomorrow, I'm having a few mates round too :)
Shaun.
