I might only be a short lived 15 year old, but i still apreaciate the good o'll blues. I love a good bit of Guns n Roses, and anything with that top hat, long curly haired guitarist, Slash in it.
My point is, where has this kind of music gone over the last couple of years?! Theres no more intricate carefully mastered songs being compiled like the ones by Guns n Roses, but insted, just heavy grunge stringing out only a few cords on the overdrive guitar effect. It seems people care more about how big their subwoofer is these days than the quality of the music they play. So what if that song has no phat beats. We want some good music here people!!
For the years of 87-94, these were the good years of true Blues and other quality songs, such from the likes of Queen etc. Anyone starting up a band, you do need more than a 100£ effects pedal and 1000£ Gibson and a handful of chords!
Lets here from those others who still envie the Blues...
