Have you ever seen the film "The Flintstones meet the Jetsons?" That was a cracking film in it's time and I've now decided to do the same idea, but with Mario and Sonic. Only difference is they don't meet so sorry about that. Hope you enjoy.
In the mushroom kingdom Mario is washing his pipe collection while Peach is away at Shark Bay, (guess nothng bad will happen there) Luigi is vacuuming inside and Yoshi is asleep in the back garden. Mario is whistling to himself and shining up his pipes, when he catches sight of a mushroom. He approaches it with caution. He then steps towards it and grabs the mushroom. Suddenly his vision goes blurred and everything disappears. He's gone.
Green Hill Zone and Sonic is racing at high speed along lush grass hills and loops. Tails is flying South while Knuckles is looking for his three car key parts and Eggman is creating his "Doomsday device." Sonic runs over a tall hill and notices something in the distance. It's a silver ring. Why isn't it gold? Sonic speeds ahead and reaches it. He snatches it and looks behind him. All he can see is a blur. Then he disappears.
"Mama mia," Mario calls. He stands up and looks around for a while. All he can see is grass, hills, loops, rings and television monitors. He walks up to one of the monitors and touches it. It's real alright. He looks at the front. It has a picture of a gold ring and the number 20. He then presses what looks like a button and waits for the television to start.
Sonic on the other hand is zooming through the mushroom kingdom.Up mushroom houses and round koopa troopas. Suddenly he is stopped by what looks like a poorly dressed plumber. He walks up to him and stares hard. "Who the heck are you?" says the plumber. "I'm Sonic. Sonic the hedgehog." says Sonic expecting the plumber to be amazed. "So? What are you doing here?"
"Don't know. I just found a ring and..."
"Wait wait wait, what's a ring?"
Sonic looks confused and then asks where he can get out of here. Luigi offers to let him stay over his. Sonic agrees.
6 hours later and Mario is still waiting for the monitor to work. "Damn T.V." he yells. He then walks over and hits it hard. The television monitor then shatters and Mario finds 20 rings in his pocket. Still lost to where he is Mario continues walking. He then finds a robot thing. It's flying. Mario shoots water at it and watches it fall to the ground in a comical fasion. It must have short circuited of something. He looks inside the robot and finds a cute little bird looking at him sadly. "Fire!" Mario shoots him and he is sent flying over the hills. Mario keeps walking.
Inside Mario's house which Luigi lives in too, Sonic finds himself sitting down with a dressing gown on and a pizza in front of him. Sonic leaps out of the chair and leaves in a stress. "What's goin' on here?" he asks himself. Then he finds a round gold thing. It is thin and looks like a ring, only with the middle bit. He starts to notice more, and collects them. 100 coins later he hears a tune and looks towards the top. It reads "Mario x 2."
Mario is still looking for a way out and eventually finds someone. It's a golden fox with two tails. "Is that you Sonic the fox says? Anyway I'm back now because I missed you and... what the...? What happened to you? he screams. "Nothing... golden... dog... looking... thing... boy." Mario replies. "You really let yourself go while I was gone," he says. "We need to get you sorted out." Tails then drags our hero off to a gym.
122, 334, 779 coins later and Sonic is finished. He then spots a pretty flower. He picks it up and looks at it. Perhaps this will get him back. Still looking at the flower he spots a white and red pattern on his skin. "Agggggggghhhhh!" he screams. "I'm white and red. That's not cool." He runs off towards the river and tries to wash it off. No luck. He then tries to find help. No luck. After this he then looks for some blue paint. Luckily some guy who is completely blue and is holding a paintbrush and looks exactly like Mario is wondering around Mushroom Kingdom. Sonic asks for some blue paint and the guy gives him some. But it is not water proof. Sonic starts painting himself.
Inside the gym and Mario is yelling and screaming while being force fed low fat milkshakes and vegetables. Knuckles turns up and sees what is going on. "Has anyone seen my keys... my... what happened to you Sonic? You're fat."
"I'm not Sonic!"
"Yeah right. If I can build my own Tornado plane then I'm sure I can tell if you're my buddy." says Tails.
"I'm outta here" says Mario while storming off out of the building. But all is not lost as that magic mushroom is lying on the floor. Mario lunges for it and holds it. Whooosh!
Sonic, covered in paint and very very angry is looking for that blasted silver ring. He searches and searches but only finds 20 gold bars, 10 purple diamonds, 540 gold coins, a yoshi egg, another 54 yellow diamonds and 23 blue jewels. Finally he finds the ring and whoosssh! He's back in Green Hill Zone. It's hot and the sun's out so he then meets up with Tails. All is explained and he decides to go for a swim. All that can be heard after that is Sonic and his constant swearing.
But where on Earth is Mario? Let's turn back the clock and find out then. Whoooossh! Back in Mushroom Kingdom. No? Mario looks round and all he sees is a huge endless pile of bananas. He turns round and is shocked to find a huge ape and a small monkey.
