Pokémon. They’re always being used for fights and general day-to-day tasks. Heck, their trainers will even use a fire pokémon to light a candle or a water pokémon to run a bath if they can. But is that all pokémon do? Don’t they get up to the kinds of things we do? What if…?

When everyone is asleep, the pokémon all rendezvous at a secret nightclub. Imagine a group of Pikachu’s powering the nightclub’s lights, whilst the other pokémon dance the night away. You can even see a Chikorita walking off with a Bulbasaur. Awww, young love. They separate to go back to their poké balls so as not to get found out by their trainers, and so continues another day.

That’s just the nighttime, though. What kind of things do you reckon the pokémon get up to during the day, or in their spare time? Do they have any hobbies? The answer to that is “oh yes.” However, pokémon haven’t quite grasped the concept of the most fun hobbies. Strangely, they haven’t heard of computer games. Even though they are, themselves, the stars. Introducing football to pokémon didn’t work. They all thought the idea of the game was to be the first to get inside the ball. How about athletics? Well, some sports took off but the grass pokémon ate all the grass. That just left the track events. Although, this interest was limited and most pokémon got bored. So, instead, they collect stamps! Oh yes.

Much like the pokémon trainers, the pokémon thrive on collecting all the different types. Stamps with designs of landscapes, 1st class stamps, seasonal stamps, the 1-penny stamp and the rare types. The Penny Black is the rarest stamp of all. However, the pokémon seemed to have become confused. They don’t call them stamps. For some reason, they call them stampémon.

Pokémon keep their stamps in poké boxes, not poké balls, and can often be found in groups discussing the kind of stamps they have managed to collect. Just in the same way that pokémon can be caught in the wild through fights, the pokémon themselves fight for their stamps. When a trainer sends his pokémon into battle, he unwittingly gives it permission to attempt a mugging of the wild pokémon’s stamps. The pokémon world of stamp collecting is as ferocious as the pokémon battles themselves. Wait… Hang on… No, they’re not. The worst thing that a pokémon can suffer from, whilst stamp collecting, is a paper cut or a really bad taste on their tongue from licking the stamps. Heh, that actually happens a lot. Well, you know what they’re like!

So, there you have it. What do pokémon do in their spare time? They collect stampémon. Can your pokémon collect them all? Just be careful, the next time you leave an envelope on the side unattended. That stamp may just disappear.

Well it's easy, you just tell them that there's been a big misunderstanding and that phi11ip really deserves to win the game, seeing as he did post a far far superior topic and that you felt the same too.

You should also find out when that Ł20 bribe expires!!

Ha ha! You will never find me (I've just moved house and I know of only one person on SR who lives near me).

I have a problem now. I didn't think for one second this would win. I don't know what to claim. Can anyone suggest any good games there are currently out? So far, the only games that have been recommended to me are Pikmin (which I know is out) and Resident Evil (which I think is out but I'm not sure).
