Instead of just controlling one aspect of a living life you could combine them and turn it into a great game. You could create your own house (The Sims), meet up with friends, go to your work, drive your car(Midtown Madness), make important decisions, go into town (Virtual Springfield) all those kind of everyday life events.
At this time this game could probably not be made and if it was it would be poor quality for all the different things in it. In the future however this could be the kind of games we could get, which I think would be very good.

Although to be fair... there wasnt really any news about Sims Online going around November last year? :)
