I am a 23 year old and have just read the harry potter books, to my supprise they were really good, i thought they would be really childish, now i have read them i feel like something is missing out of my life (sad i know). It even made me go out and buy the harry potter DVD which is also pretty good (except that the actor that plays harry potter can't act to well), the film is nothing compared to the books,i can't see how they can make the new harry potter films with PG cert's as some parts are pretty "scary", i am really looking forward to all things harry potter now i may even take up magic (only kidding) i would definatly suggest you guys read them then get bakc to me, a guarantee you will like it.

Oh, so thats what El blokey meant. Yup, I have all the Harry Potter books, and I really enjoy reading them. I suspect the reason kids love them so much is because they are really good books. Only a theory.
Yup, I've read all 4 of the Harry Potter books, too, and I know what you mean about the PG certificate, because the 4th is a bit, umm, more adult than the rest.
Harry Potter kicks bum, some people still judge books by their covers, which, for Harry Potter, is sad, because the front covers aren't what most would call appealing.
