Hello, I’m here with Falco, the proud star of the new Rare title, Falco Lombardi: Thunderbird.

Me: so, Falco, what made you take the jump from the big N to Rareware?

Falco: well, when I found out I wasn't in dinosaur planet, I got a little mad. why I wasn't included as a second disk character like in resi evil 2, I have no idea. so I took off for a while. then I gathered my pride, threw away the ,er, liquor bottles, and went straight to rare. I asked them to give me my own brilliant game, a sure dinosaur planet beater. they recognised my talent straight away, and hired me like a shot. plus I got to keep this birdcage I found in their trash!

Me: what's the game about?

Falco: well, the Starfox team has been declared lost in action, while their actually on DP. I am given a special agent position instead of a space pilot. the game basically plays like JB nightfire, only futuristic. there's covert operations, Hover-car chases, and all out shoot'em-ups.

Me: what weapons do you get to use in thunderbird?

Falco: well, there's my standard issue blaster (customised) you get to use that in all the missions, even the vehicle driving levels. oh, but not the mech levels. (not wanting to give it all away) you also can get your hands on (in the later levels) the Plasma Bazooka, the acid thrower, and the vaporizing net launcher. Spy-gadgets include the spyfly, the
bomb-bug, and the model helicopter arsenal. (great fun!)

Me: what games do you expect to feature in next?

Falco: I still have my contract with Starfox, so that’s still open. I am also of course featuring in the new beat em’ up, Super Smash Bros V Melee, and am fully expecting to be involved in the newly named Nintendo kart. Currently I am trying to ad a couple of new recruits to the starfox team ready for the Lylatwars next sequel, to replace the retired Peppy, and the, somewhat, incompetent Slippy. I have already found one sure fire pilot, Bilbo Bear.

Me: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Falco: well, I enjoy flying my collection of private planes, my assault chopper, my f1 Tomcat, my jump-jet, and my ‘Old Skool’ Biplane. I also like the radical new cereal, sugar crisp cereal. The great taste of sugar, in bits! Cant get enough of that sugar crisp…

Me: thank you for your time Falco, and I hope your new game is as successful as any Mario or Zelda game could be.

Falco: of course it will be…* makes shifty eyes*
