Well, as the title says really, I'm getting fed up of pressing the Refresh button to see new topics.
The reason for this is quite simple. For the page to refresh and new comments be added would mean the browser would have to scan the source file and update accordingly. However, if you were scrolled into a position halfway down a long page and then the page refreshed, this would take you to the top again and become very annoying. It can be done using a simple Javascript command, but I think it is better for everyone as it is.
Blather - nobody in their right mind would want pages refreshing all on their own.
What about a latest post link on every page (which refreshes whenever you change pages)? Then everybody could dive over the latest post on the whole site and pitch in to any newbie trying to grab the gameaday
