I enjoy computer games, but I wouldn't say I'm a 'hardcore gamer'. How many people here would describe themselves as 'hardcore' gamers, and what makes a you a hardcore gamer or not? What is the most extreme example of being a hardcore gamer that you've heard of?

I would say a good example of a hardcore gamer is that guy that is queing outside that shop for Turok, you all know about him dont you?

I have been playing games for the past 13 years but I still wouldnt describe myself as a hardcore gamer.

A hardcore gamer would probably be someone who devotes like 90% of their time (and all of their social life) to games. Someone who who play FFX all the way through in one go, or something like that.

I used to be a bit hardcore meself, till I started working and got engaged to an expensive woman!

I can't be a Hardcore gamer because I'm a girl, so I just can't (apparently)
